Exponentially Increase Your Output.
I have been thinking about the Quantum Leap Strategy that I will be exploring as I build the confidence in a consistent posting schedule and voice that I’m proud of and would want my son to watch when he is olde. The idea is I leave a legacy behind that my son can reference when he gets older. I want the ideas I share he to be something that he can be proud of calling me his father.
Being true to who I am as a person and the speaking from my own experience and not regurgitating information that I’ve consumed has been challenging. Separating yourself from consumed knowledge and personal experience can often times have blurred lines. If you mentally repeat something to yourself enough times you start to believe it. However, with that said I wanted to challenge the Quantum Leap Strategy in a way that would be true to who I was and approach it from an angle allowed for experimentation.
My Quantum Leap journal will be documented on Instagram which can be seen below. I also want to incorporate it into my YouTube strategy but that version of the journal isn’t as clear. I will be running a series titled. “The Quantum Leap Day #001 Doing today what my future self would be proud of.” The idea behind this is based on a past blog post where I spoke about trusting you future self that can be found here. If we approach life from our end goal and make decisions based on the ideal future self than ultimately we would have a happier life by taking action on what we want and not what is easier to do in that moment.
I’m hoping this approach will help me accomplish two things. The firs thing is following the guidelines of the book “The Quantum Leap Strategy” where it talks about taking a less conventional path. Going against your instincts to break away from your patterns or what you would consider “coming natural” to you. The reasoning for this would be that the things that coming easy to you are what you lean on when change, to you, seems tougher than the changed behavior for the desired outcome. Essentially, I’m hoping it’ll help me be consistent and more disciplined. The second hope is to document the growth over time, to see if I am capable of making a quantum leap.
